The organizer, Pavlos Froudarakis, opened the first restaurant “Maria’s Golden Beach” in Stalis, on April 27, 1982.
From our mediocre beginnings in 1982 with little space on the elegant local Golden sunny beaches of the area of Stalis, the development of the “Golden Beach of Maria” came alive with the energy to cook and serve Cretan, Greek and international food.
